Play-test Update


hello! Recently I had a friend play test my level and saw how they interacted with the world asked them what they were feeling and how to better the design and feel of my level!

The few takeaways I got from watching them play and the feedback I got is that the world itself is a little too big and feels like you are walking aimlessly though a foggy forest

I realized how hard it was for them to find the eerie ethereal area within my world due to the vastness of the forest and the fog messing with their sense of direction, and how I can better lead them by possibly adding more points of interest or checkmarks that lead the player more towards the direction that I want them to go in.

I also had some problems with the build of my level with meshes not loading in correct or the LOD creating weird changes in the level, as well as my boundary walls not showing up at all allowing the player to fall right off the map
